Asian Community - Music Healing

1619657641115.jpeg

Join us as we process, heal, and share stories through music and art in the face of ongoing hate crimes, discrimination, and racism against Asian communities across North America. The evening will begin at 5:30pm Pacific | 8:30pm Eastern; in partnership with City Hall Live - Toronto. Sequence and flow of events will include a workshop, music, poetry, and yoga. This event is open to ALL participants, allies and supporters.

We are tuning in from the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat, which is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We are also tuning in from the traditional, unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

50% of ticket sales will go towards supporting a non-profit organization doing work in the mental health space for Asian communities (Asian Mental Health Collective), who provide therapy, resources, and support. The event will have closed captions & ASL Interpretation.
